What is the point of this, if you are more than likely not going to be vacuuming at night? I've heard people say that it is to quot;know if a specific area is cleanbut I mean seriously... I don't think you really need lights do you?? Just vacuum during the day perhaps? Works for me and I don't have a dirty house.
what if you dont have a lamp in your house? and its night time? then how can you see where the dirt is? think practically!
Maybe it's like a deer in the headlights. those dust bunnies just freeze when you shine a light on them.
I have wondered this before, then I realized how helpful it was when vacuuming in the closets. I've got kids, and thanks to that little light, I have avoided sucking up barbie shoes and hair clips.
The more expensive vacuums will have lights. They add a $2 part and increase the price by $50.
It makes it much easier to see in dark corners and darker areas, such as under beds and in closets. I have found quite a few things because the light from the headlight reflected off something that the room light didn't show up. Also, it makes pet hair show up easier, so you know when it's clean. I do vacuum during the day, but there's two dogs in my house, and some areas have more dirt/hair/lint/etc. than others.
