Question:

Why does pressure cooker leak steam near handle?

I have been using my Prestige Deluxe Aluminium pressure cooker for about 5 years and never needed to even change the gasket as yetHowever, after a relocation recently, when I used the cooker for the 1st time, it started leaking steam near the handlesSomeone suggested that I replace the gasket, which I did, yet the steam leaks near the handlesSome steam does come out of the regular hole on the lid too, but much of it leaks out so am not able to use the cooker properlyThere is no crack in the old gasket, but I still replaced it, nor is there anything lodged in the lid to make the steam leak from that areaThere are no dents on the lid or the lower body of the cooker either. Can anyone figure what might be causing the steam to leak this way ?

Answer:

Prestige Pressure Cooker Gasket
If that weren't this way of freaking long concern in keeping with danger i might do your homework for youOr, in keeping with danger you're able to do your very own homework, or you will likely fail the classDo you rather think of everyone is going to do this total component for you? haha.
