Question:

Why does the Government require smoke detectors in every bedroom when . . .?

Why does the Government require smoke detectors in every bedroom when they know dam good and well they are a source of hidden cameras?

Answer:

I wouldn't use a bucket full of water, if you're trying to dry fire in your house and keep it quiet or something, just bury the barrl in some blankets or the cushions of your couch. That'll soften the noise quite a bit.
Use CPVC or PEX. The cheapest way is cpvc with glue fittings. The glue is really good and makes an incredibly strong joint. I am not a big fan of crimp fittings on pipe because the fitting goes inside the pipe and restricts the water flow. Also, be cautious of what rings you use on crimp fittings, they have had lots of problems with the aluminum rings. Best of luck.
