Question:

Why is it safe to carry a 1911 ****** and locked?

Hi all, was listening in on a debate between friends on Glock v. 1911, and the 1911 supporters talked about how the 1911 could be carried ****** and locked safely while a Glock had to be carried with an empty chamber. What part or parts of the 1911 allow it to be carried with a round in the chamber, and what parts is the Glock missing? In addition, what prevents an accidental discharge in the 1911 if one is in the chamber? Does the safety physically block the firing pin from hitting the primer when the safety is on? Thanks.

Answer:

home depot, ace, or any other hardware store
Tselect the type of resin you want to use (though there's maybe more info in the Epoxy Resin category)
