why is it when I line the pan with alum foil and cover the top with same my hamburger patties don't get done
Aluminum is a poor heat conductor It can actually be a heat shield Notice that KFC always wrap their corn on the cob in aluminum foil to keep them warmIf you're just cooking hamburger patties, I suggest that you use a BBQ or just pan-fry and not in the oven If you must use an oven, line the bottom of your oven with aluminum foil then put the meat patties directly on the rack; Broil to seal in taste.
