One cold morning I attempted to start my car with the *auto start*. It didn‘t work, then later my car alarm started going off. I kept having trouble with the auto starter, and whenever I did, hours later (often at night) the car alarm would go off. The dealership blamed it on the auto starter. The auto starter people said to only use their remote to lock and unlock the car, and not the one that came with the car. I did that, but still have the problem. Usually it‘s whenever I try to use the remote starter, but it‘s happened a couple times randomly. Their giving me the run around at the remote starter place, even though it‘s got a warranty. My neighbor‘s might stone me sometime soon if I don‘t get this figured out. Only respond if you have an actual idea of what could be happening. My spouse has an extra starter that I‘m going to have switched to see if that clears things up.
Most likly the auto start is draining you battery. You alarm is going off letting you know somehting is wrong with the veh. have your battery checked out and see who ever installed your auto start to have them test for a draw. Good luck
There is no way it could be your starter. Dont waste your time swapping it out. I'd have your auto starter removed. It seems like they may have tapped into a wrong wire or the alarm bypass that they had to install is wired incorrectly or just plain bad.
