It‘s for science so anything you have on it would be helpful
I'm not sure I agree that it lasts longer. It really depends on the type of plastic and the environment. PVC does take a small amount of skill to consistently glue joints that are leak proof. The new pex tubing is becoming very popular because it can be used for very long runs with no joints. That makes is less troublesome in terms of leaks and takes less labor to install. A real cost saving.
Broccoli is an excellent source of iron, I've been a vegan for years and at a blood drive they tested my iron and said I had the best iron out of anyone they saw all day. They told me it was probably because I eat a lot of broccoli.
1. Much cheaper than copper 2. Corrosion resistant 3. Lighter, so easier and cheaper to transport 4. Can be bonded instead of welded or fixed with threads (cheaper and faster)
If you have been tested by a Dr and was told your iron level was low then the Dr should have prescribed iron tablets. My Dr put me on prenatal vitamins (even though I am past child bearing age) and then just put me on straight iron.
Copper is getting very expensive. Pennies are no longer made of copper because that much copper costs more than a penny. In fact the big high-voltage wires that carry electrical power from city to city, power companies are pulling those wire down and replacing the copper with aluminum. The aluminum wires have to be much bigger around, but the difference between the price of copper and aluminum is so big that the companies sell the copper and still have a profit after paying for the aluminum wires and the work involved. Plastic is cleaner because it doesn't oxidize. It lasts longer and is more reliable over time. It's lighter so you can carry more on a truck. It glues together so you don't have to solder it, so it's much safer to work with. So it's not only easier to install but to repair if that's ever necessary. And it's a lot cheaper. So why would you still use copper?
