As I understand it,steel manufacturing and processing is almost extinct in the U.S.People tell me that if you want a major project constructed(bridges,buildings)the steel is made and bought from countries like China or India.Why is this so,and what could be done to reverse this trend?Personally,I think it would be much better for the economy if it were made and sold right here.
