Question:

Why is the ice in my icetray disappearing?

I fill the ice tray to the top.and when frozen it is still to the top.but after a month or two, the tray is only half full of ice even though I did not use any What is happening to the ice?

Answer:

You should take her to the vet for two reasons: One, she could have a nutritional deficiency, which would explain the yarn eating, and two, you need to make sure the yarn is not wrapping around her intestines, which can be fatal.
As you may know, a trip to the vet may be expensive, so maybe you should follow these tips1 Just hide the yarn from herthat's about it actually.
If by going in to eat you mean heat and she has still not been spayed, PLEASE take her to the vet ASAP to be spayedAnd they can check her for any yarn you fed herPlease never do that again, assuming she survives.
You should take her to the vet to make sure there isn't anything else in thereMy cat ate a plastic wrapperFrom the caprice sun strawsSo now i don't leave the wrappers around lolBut yarn is something serious, that is materialyou have to train the cat not to do those thingsPunish him, like use a very soft thingLike Bounty Paper Towels, roll a few of those up into a bat like shape and when she misbehaves, hit her with it, very softly, you don't want to hurt her, just scare her so she knows better.
You have a self defrosting refrigerator which is circulating cold dry air inside the boxThe ice is subliming directly from solid ice to vapor and being carried offIf you want to stop it, put a sheet of aluminum foil the width of the tray across the topBut a month or two is too long to be keeping ice, it picks up flavors and loses air and tastes bad.
