Why is the magnetism of stainless steel welded?

Answer:

If there is magnetism after welding, the main reason may be the change of alloy system or the change of microstructure.
Austenitic stainless steel, if it contains a small amount of ferrite, or austenitic stainless steel in cold processing due to larger deformation, it will have a weak magnetic.
Stainless steel is not magnetic, mainly related to its alloy system and microstructure. Generally, austenitic stainless steel is non-magnetic, while ferrite and martensitic stainless steel are magnetic.
