Hit and Run is a crime, regardless of the situation If there is video footage from a security camera and the person asks the school to see it, they can call the cops and have you arrested. But most likely, the damage would be small and the person won't notice it until long after they could pinpoint the time it happened. (I went like a year before I noticed someone had keyed my passenger door.)
