This is my situation. The alarm for my car is set but the battery for the car died. I want to open the door to my car with the key but i‘m afraid that the alarm will go off. Is it going to go off or since the car battery is dead, will the alarm will be off?
if there is now power to the alarm then it wont go off. now if you have a battery back up alarm (non factory install) then it will. just be sure that that battery is truly dead. to test it hit the alarm button on the key fob.
