Question:

Will my coil space heater fan trigger my dorm's fire alarm?

When I turn it to the low heat setting, I smell a burning odor (probably the coils warming up). I just don't want this to trigger the fire alarm in my dorm room.

Answer:

Sleep in rollers at night. Big or small depending on what kind of curls you want.
Any law enforcement agency can ask for a warrant to tap the phone. There are no guidelines as to a specific type of crime has to be involved in order to request a warrant to tap a line.
I'm old enough that I remember pin curls you wrap a small section of hair around your finger, hold it against your scalp, then use two bobby pins to hold it down (one bobby pin crossed over the other). There are various kinds of rollers out there my hair stylist told me recently that she uses the velcro type no pins needed. There are hot rollers, which I have: it's a small case with rods that the rollers fit on, and you plug it in and the rollers heat up. When a light comes on, it's ready to use. It comes with the special clips to hold the rollers. Then there are the rubber spools another very old method; they are rubber and you wrap the section of hair around it, then turn down the rubber neck to hold it. I haven't tried these, but they are probably easiest to sleep with. I'd go with the heated rollers once you put them in your hair, you can go on to other things, and then return and remove the rollers.
Get a set of rollers Put them in at night, and when you wake up, take them out and your hair will be curly..
