Ravelry has a really good selection of patterns both free and paidYou have to register for itAs for videos, I learned from DIY networks Knitty Gritty's basics videos.
Are you only doing one side of the front? Usually when this happens to me, I do both sides at the same time to have the increases and decreases happen on the same rowIf you are doing one side write down the portion of the instructions that tell you what to doMark it off when you do that rowYou will find it is not as confusing as when you first read itWhen you do the other side write the instructions in reverseIf you still have a the problem email me and I can go over it with you to find the answer.
You can work both fronts together but if you find it easier to do one side at a time that's fineTo do 1 side at a time put the stitches for the left front on your left hand needleOn the neck edge i.ethe left edge of this front you will continue to do the V neck decreases as you have been instructedAt the right hand edge you will work the armhole shaping beginning with Bind off 4 stitchesThe shaping will be the same as for the back which you have already doneWhen you have completed the left front you will then work the right frontThe neck edge will be at the right and the armhole edge at the leftJoin the yarn at the neck edge and work 1 row to the armhole edge.Again work the neck edge decreases as you have been doingAt the same time start the armhole shaping beginning bind off 4 stitches and complete to match the left front.
no it wont but if over time it begins to fade put aluminium foil into a bowl pput salt water in there and leave it in the water over night, it will clean it and make it sparkleworked 4 my ring )
