looking to buy GA-970A-UD3 with bulldozer 8120 and the coolermaster v10 cooler, but need to know if it will fit that board
It will bolt in to your Bulldozer rig no issues, two things to note: Ram height(make sure your ram is short enough to clear that large heat sink/fan) and Case(make sure your case is wide enough to fit that massive cooler in it, nothing like buying a fantastic cooler and it sticks out the case half an inch)
Yes the cooler will definitely fit on top of the motherboard. However, the components around it may not fit properly. It's not the same for everyone (RAM height, case, etc.) But it shouldn't be a problem because the V10 is fairly high compared to a lot of other coolers on the market. Hope this helps. Good luck!
