I have a 95' Silverado K1500 (4x4) with a 4L60-E transmission and 5.7L engine that is in need of a wiring harness. I have quite a bit of blood, sweat, and tears tied into it (along with money) and I'm not going to give up on it. Besides, it's my only hope for getting back and forth to school. I'm thinking about getting a C1500 for a parts truck. The problem is that it has the 4.3L V6. If I use the E.C.M. from my truck, will the harness work?
No, it won't work at all. Why do you need a new wiring harness though?
no man unfortunately it wont work all the sensors the ecm plugs throttle body plugs anything else u try to switch over is gonna be different. you'd be better off goin to painless wiring online or something like that google it u can find what u need for farely inexpensive. plug n play makes one also kinda costly but there easy work great. good luck
