Shouldnt be a problem to run minecraft on it.
You might want to go with a sandy/ivy bridge CPU. If you look up benchmarks on a sandy bridge CPU compared to a bulldozer. You might find a sandy bridge is actually the better bang for your buck. also how many watts is your power supply you don't want to cheap out on your power supply. A quad core douse not multiply the clock speed by 4. The clock speed is the total speed in your case you have 4 core 8 threads that means you are running 500mhz per thread. A quad core will be faster because of the way i processes information though.
Yes it will easily run minecraft on max setting at any resolution with any texture packs XD "AMD? Bulldozer FX 4100 Quad-Core 4x 4.0Ghz Black Edition = 16.0gh.z" is wrong. If the place you are buying from is advertising that, id be weary as they dont know anything XD but 4 cores at 4ghz is NOT 16ghz.... you dont multiply cores by clock speed.... 4 cores at 4ghz = 4 cores at 4ghz each core is caiable of processing its own data, so you can process more things at once, or for multi-threaded software, it will be able to use multi cores at the same time to run faster/better. (tho most things only use 1-2 cores)
