my friend recently quit WoW and gave me all of his gold and i decided to buy me and my friend chopper mounts for 17.8k each. Now im wondering what kind of gold farming techniques i could do to try to regain the money back. I currently have BC only so i cant go to Northrend or any Cata areas. Also i do have maxed BS and Mining at 375 but im looking for something that i could farm for a few hours and sell for around 1k each.like say a rare proffesion plan or something. Well ill be honest. Farming in the outlands is a waste of time, the items make barely any money because they're no longer the best gear that a max char can get. You really cant farm for AH gear unless you have the expansions. BC gear is REALLY easy to get now-a-days so if your gonna want the big bucks get the expansions. But if not, find some Black Temple raids.
Well there are lots of strategies but the best one i think is flipping AH which is buying for a few and sell for loads watch vids on Youtube for learning about this technique i recommend Ryutaroakatarou's channel. Also you can take Mining as a profession and sell copper bars for loads on AH and JC sells good too. hope that helped.
