I currently have a glass tableThe aluminum base is round, as is the glass table topThe base is 30quot; round and the top is a 41.5quot; roundI would like to have a 54quot; inch glass square made to replace the top I currently have, but I am afraid that if someone leaned on the edge, the top would tip upI am no good at physics, so I need helpIf you can't answer, where would you look for an answer?
13 year old with a fever of 104F? Sweat it out? I don't think that's a good plan, sounds like dad has watched too many cowboy moviesShe needs to see her doctor, or if he/she is not immediately available, hit the ER or an urgent care walk-in clinicJohn Jones, M.D.
A temperature that high requires immediate medical attentionShe needs to be seen at the ERI understand she has an appointment with the doc today, but with a temp that high it can be very dangerousShe really shouldn't wait , a lot can happen in a couple of hoursBesides an ER is much better equipped to care for her.
Being she's been sick for more than 24 hours she needs to go to the hospital and into the ERThey will be able to give her mediation which can help her break the fever and start feeling betterSweating it out is only good for 24 hoursAfter that it can become dangerous At the appointment today make 100% sure you mention she's been with a 103+ temp since ThursdayShe can begin having brain damage if worse comes to worse I hope she feels better soon!
Get her to the doctor NOW! The body CANNOT (!) take being heated up! 104 is dangerous and sweating will not helpSweat is the bodys way of cooling itself when it's getting too hotIt's good to keep her warm, but not HOTBut don't read this, just get her to the doctor! 40 is a lot! Don't let her get cold on the outside though, then the inside will be heated up even moreThe internal organs are meant to be at a constant temperature of about 98.6F.
let me assume that this is a patio table and you have expanded the guest list the best way to have a safe table for your guests is to find a welder and ask him to make you a nice metal base for that large table top the aluminum base that you have now will not support the 1/2inch 54-round of glass [[ well it might last for a while but not safely you can get the welder to make that base for you in a plain or fancy style if you have a theme that you enjoy tell the welder that's what Id do .
