Question:

Would spraypaint be enough to stop the corrosion between steel and aluminum wire?

im making a wire sculpture and need to know, it will be hanging above headthere would only be spraypaint (black or brown) on the aluminum wire.

Answer:

As long as there is not too much friction and any existing corrosion (if any) has been sanded away, then yes, the spray paint should do just fineYou might also try a strip of rubber cut from a bicycle tube or something like thatIt works very well as an insulator between two metals.
