Question:

Would Tibetans hoist red China's flag?

Would Jews hoist Nazi Germany flag?Would Chinese and Koreans hoist raising sun flag?

Answer:

For those whom do not think of themselves Chinese nor belong to CCP, why should they? It's no one's fault but CCP's. Why the hell so many Chinese ethnicity refuse or feel shameful to call themselves Chinese and why so many Chinese denounce CCP? Do you find any Black, Asians, Hispanics so forth in the US refuse to call themselves Americans? NO. On the contrary tons of Mainland Chinese are eager to become Americans, lol. Could CCP mouthpieces come up to explain why?
This is the travel category. It is for questions about travel and traveling. Try asking your question in a more appropriate category, using the handy menu on the left. You will get better answers.
Yes, of course, Tibetans should. Why ? China and Tibet has become ONE COUNTRY since the Tang Dynasty 1000+ years ago under a friendly mutual agreement, older than the history of America ! Whereas, Japan and Germany were nothing more than attackers, invaders and murderers. Particularly Japan, it still has not paid back the war compensation to China ! Japanese flag should be burnt to dust, not hoisted ! .
Why look for sympathies in a 'travel' category.. You raise whatever flag you please. The Tibet issue is highly controversial and both sides (including foreign agents) are to be blamed for negative sentiments. It would take me an entire paper to explain myself. But in summary it's a problem of the Chinese government not recognizing the way of life of the Tibetans, the perceived and/or real attempts to eradicate their culture to an extent, the Tibetans resistance to integrate and work 'harmoniously' with the ethnic Han and foreign involvement in the issue. The fact is, the 'red China's flag' is flying in Tibet and just like the other 50 or so minority in the region, independence is out of the question (at least in my lifetime) and cooperation and understanding by both sides is the only way for life to continue
Well, as far as I concern, Tibet had been a part of China since 1600s, that's more than 400 yrs ago... when United States was no where to be found. The Qing ruled Tibet, and ever since Tang (which is around 843 AD), the region was strictly under Chinese control, until Qing finally ruled it in 1644. C'mon you gotta be kidding yoruself, 99.99% of people who live in Tibet are ethnic Chinese... the other 0.01% are indians ! well well well... words lost all meaning.
