Question:

Would you let your son pull the fire alarm in a fire if he asked?

If you and your son were together and were outside and saw a fire and your son asked if he could pull the alarm would you let him? What age would yoi think would be appropriate to allow your son to pull it? Would you go with your son to make sure it was done? How would you help your son if he asked you if he was doing it right? If there was glass and he said could I kick it would you help him to keep his balance?Would you communicate while your son was pulling the alarm or watch in silence? Could a teen ask for advice about how to pull it even if they are smart but wanted to do it correctly? What kind of advice would you give your son regarding reading and executing the directions? If your son had Autism would you still let him pull the alarm if he knew what it was for? I Know it doesn't matter who pulls it so would you be open to letting your son do it or would you do it together and if so how? This is for a report.

Answer:

You / On second thought, if you got a thick enough rubber sheet, maybe something like textured silicone, you could cut out the triangles and use them on the table without gluing them down. They shouldn't slide on the table, and this way would be easier to clean up.
A higher oxygen content will deter algae. Also what kind of water are you using? Is it well water? Maybe there is already algae in the well. It is common. Or is it tap water, that does not have a good mineral balance. Do you know the mineral content of the water? You might want to speak to your local agricultural agent. They know a lot about algae overgrrowth. They consult for free, as you have a wildlife habitat in your yard. You might want to change your fountain to aerate more and the filter and pump to circulate more ofter. You might need a larger pump. It is very difficult to create a mini ecosystem like you have. If you are in semi-tropics, the water might just be too hot, which is conducive to algae growth. Also what is your substrate? do you have a plastic liner that is black. This reflects back too much heat. Better a blue liner, or even better, get rid of liner and use just gravel and rock bottom that slowly seeps out water, and you slowly and the same rate of seepage add new water. You will need a leveler for this. It's great that you care for fish and tend a pond.
