1hamster about $5-10 2cage $30-40 3food about $5 4toys $5 5bedding about $5 yes it adds up to be a lot when first starting but after the cage it pretty cheap
Cage looks fine and is an okay price Food looks perfect, maybe a little bit pricey but not too bad Bedding looks okay but way to expensive I've brought some bedding for at least half of that Not really seen anything like the first toy before but is a decent price Chew looks good and an okay price Ball looks fine and at an average price Hamster price sounds fine Altogether that sound like an averagely good price, it roughly about how much I spent.
I completely agree with what the others saidHowever, I would like to add that sometimes a waterbottle could randomly go bad, the spring could be too hard for the hamster to move, so be sure to test that in the storeBedding and food obviously isn't just a one time thing - add the cost of one bag of food times about 36 over three yearsWe generally buy the big bags of beddingYou know, the ones that are like $15 and last a long time and are packed firmly? So for a hamsterYou might have to buy a new bag of that every couple of weeks as long as you change it weekly + spot cleaning They do go through toys fastMost of them chew on absolutely everythingReplacement toys will add up fastDepending on the toys you buy it could be $100 - $150 per year just to replace those.
