I just bought a blue wireless controller for the XB 360, and my battery pack (white) will not work with it. It isn't necessary to have the matching battery pack for the controller to work, correct? Or am I wrong?
Well my bfs tried to use his elite controller with the white battery pack from his previous controller and doesnt work properly. The battery will all of a sudden die and wont turn on so he uses batteries. We exchanged the controller for another elite one and same thing happens. We tried switching it with the battery pack from my white controller and same thing happens. Its so lame.
My boyfriend said you shouldnt need to have them the same color they should work together
no you dont need the same color batter pack, i dont no what going on with yours because i have black elite controllers with my white battery pack and they work fine

The charger battery connects to the front of the Xbox 360's USB (or any laptop USB port will do) so which you will play whilst this is charging.
