i bought 2 gameware rechargable battery packs for my xbox 360 a year a go and they stopped working about 4 - 6 months ago, they only work when they are plugged in with the wire thats supposed to charge them but now there broke they wont charge they only turn on. there is no reason for them braking, or none that i know of. can somebody tell me whether the official microsoft rechargable battery packs do this aswell, because is they do i will buy some of them, but if they dont im not going to bother.
Like any rechargeable battery over time they wont be able to keep a charge. The microsoft ones do the same thing . If you charge them to much they don't last as long . Mine last 2 years before it wore out . Its normal either buy a wired controller use the cord or just get use to buying new battery packs when they wear out if you want to have a wireless controller .
I believe GameStop has MicroSoft packs, but I am not sure of the brand. I have had my packs since November 07 and they work fine.
