Disagree - a bulldozer to me one who is taking risks without looking at what could be the various outcomes because they have a single intent. I think most people take well-calculated risks so that doesn't make them the bulldozer or the pavement.. it means they are walking on the sidewalk and will step into the street once the risk is assessed.
Life isn't that simple. Before the bulldozer arrives, much must be done to prepare, for instance. Addendum: He took no risk in writing the book. The publisher took the risk. I had a boss once who was nothing but a slogan paster and nobody respected him nor did they consider him a leader. We got more work done when he was out of the building.
The statement doesn't make sense at all. Dozers, like most construction equipment, can best be used for moving earth or demolishing things. One dozer operator can spread earth, pile earth, dig trenches, and generally get stuff out of the way. That is a dozer's mission. Pavement is something people walk on, drive on, etc. and usually isn't even begun until the dozer has moved the extra or surplus or unneeded stuff out of the way. Think about it next time you're traveling (slowly!!!) on a freeway--you will see lots of repair work on the pavement, but seldom will you see a dozer unless new construction is going on. So I would have to disagree with the statement.
No, sometimes life seems like that. We can just walk away and be anything we want. There is always a sacred grove to sit in, far away from bulldozers and pavement.
