Question:

4 speakers 200 watts @8 ohm?

Hey,I've got 4 speaker all 200 watts @8 ohm, what would be the best way to connect them to a 2 channel amplifier? do I need a crossover?

Answer:

Many two channel amps have outputs for two sets of speakers. You can select speakers A, Speakers B or, on some amps, both Speakers A and B simultaneously. Hope you have that kind of amp.
You probably do not need a crossover if these speakers are in an enclosure and have a tweeter and a woofer. If they are the round speaker parts all alone not in an enclosure, you will need a crossover and other things to make them sound good.
Wire two speakers in parallel for each channel. This will give you a 4 ohm load for each channel. Speaker 1 and speaker 2 put the + wires together and plug them in channel 1 + (red) speaker post then twist the - negatives together and put them in channel 1 - negative or Black speaker post Repeat above for speaker 3 and 4 in Channel 2
