Question:

94 lincoln continental air ride suspension?

can having a weak battery effect the air ride, because the back two side wont go up when just yesterday they were up just fine. I dont think they both went out at the same time. are the any other ways to tell. i would take it to a shop but i cant afford the tow. i also thought it could be the cold air because thats when i started having problems with it(chicago below zero) can any body help me out

Answer:

On my '96 Town car, I took out the air suspension and replaced with regular springs I got from StrutMasters (best thing I have done, ride is just as good and no more costly repairs on the bags that will just need to be repaired againreplace with regular springsyou will not regret)
a wiring diagram and and the ability to read one the rest is easy.
no a weak battery won't effect it. why are you wanting to have it towed to a garage? if it runs you can drive it with the back down it will be rough but it won't hurt it. The air system should never lose air if it does something is wrong. You probably should check on a conversion kit because your system is starting to have lots of problems there are so many switches and relays and other component that make the system work and 1994 its old so either get rid of the car or get it switched to conventional suspension
