Question:

AC BlOWER MOTOR?

Is it ok to leave the heater in the quot;on positionquot; even after I turn my car off? Will it cause any damage to the blower motor, if every time I turn on my car; the heater turns on automatically because it's in the quot;on positionquot;?

Answer:

You do not have to turn anything off when you shut off your car unless it actually stays on. Things like the dome light, headlights and the 4 ways will run down your battery with the key off if left on but all other features of a car if left on will not harm your car even at the point of restart. The ignition switch automatically cuts off all these accessories to deliver full power to starting the car. The only thing that could suffer is the battery which can basically fail anytime after 3 years anyway. Stop living in the days of old.... We have NEW cars today.
Yes, it is not getting any power while the car is off.
Hi........Somewhat, it draws allot of power and during the winter you need all the cranking amps you can get, I turn everything off when starting my vehicle.. Generally it's a good idea to turn all your accessories off upon exiting the vehicle, especially the A/C, as it's a pump and is putting pressure on the engine while it tries to start your car.. It puts allot of strain on that small electrical part the starter, making it turn against all that pressure. Eventually your starter will drag or turn very slowly because of this.. Good Luck, I hope this helps you..:-)))
its fine to leave it on. i always do and i never had a problem with it
