Question:

any good metal instrumentals?

does anyone known any good metal instrumentals, open to metalcore, metal, hardcore, deathmetal anything heavy or some good metal bands that play instrumentals

Answer:

It's the Leaves' Eyes one. Evanescense isn't metal. Leaves Eyes has a lot of gothic metal influence in their music. Evanescense has a much more goth rock type of feel. There's not that much of a difference, but to me, the Leaves Eyes one is heavier and just has that metal feel.
#1: Metal #2: Not metal I'd never heard of the first band before so I listened to it and it reminded me of Nightwish a lot, who are a metal band. Evanescence, in my opinion, are not a metal band. They are rock, but lots of people argue that they are symphonic metal, like Nightwish, but I disagree because their music is not heavy enough.
Pocket Jokers - that stuff IS metal. How very closed-minded of you. And Evanescence does not have operatic vocals - did you even listen? What you consider to be metal is not metal - the vocals almost do not matter. The fact that you posted women screaming into mics shows that you don't really know what you're talking about. Waiting for the thumbs-down now... And Evanescence isn't metal, because the heavier guitars and such, such as in Sweet Sacrifice, are not consistent with their overall sound. Their earlier sound was very rocky. It is hard to categorize them between rock and metal, because I think they are a bit of both, although they are rock most of the time. Leaves' Eyes is metal - their sound is consistently metal throughout, especially with the guitars. They have strong influences of gothic metal as well. Symphonic metal and gothic metal almost go hand-in-hand.
KP, I believe Evanescence is closer to metal than Leaves Eyes. It is not because of my preference for Evanescence. In Sweet Sacrifice, you hear those heavy guitars in the background behind Amy Lee's voice. They are much heavier and much more chuggier than the guitars in Leaves Eyes. Leaves eyes seemed a little too light to be considered metal, well the guitars. Now whether Evanesence is considered metal at all, that's a debate. I think so, but not many people. I guess because Evanescence is mainstream and metal is supposed to be underground? Makes no sense, in my opinion they are metal. I hope I helped with my answer KP. EDIT: I think I am the only one that claimed Evanescence as being more metal than Leaves Eyes. hmmm maybe I was missing something. One time on RP I said Evanescence was goth rock and I got flamed BADLY! Now everyone is saying Evanescence has that goth rock feel....errrr I said that before people! I'm gonna be honest Evanescence is NOT symphonic metal, and they aren't the heaviest band out there nor are they near it, but they seem to me that they just BARELY make it into the metal genre, they do make it but they are on thin ice with it. Leaves Eyes didn't cut it for me, and I bet that all these people saying Leaves Eyes is more metal than Evanescence is biased because of their overall general hatred towards Evanescence. I tried to make an unbiased opinion but I don't think everyone else was doing the same.
Well KP, I don't know {or care} what the 'experts' say, my personal opinion is that #2 is *not* Metal... It's a form of Rock {a sort of blend of goth and symphonic}, but not Metal. I'm not sure what my opinion of #1 is... Okay, basically, just because a group is female fronted doesn't mean they *aren't* Metal, but a lot of them just don't have that extra 'something' that lifts them into that genre. That's my tuppenceworth, but it's probably not even worth a ha'penny...
