When driving, the doors lock and unlock automatically weirdly. What could be the problem? I searched the internet, but, I can't find a detailed explanation.
If the actuator functions, the problem is likely the yellow plastic bushings and clips Ford uses on the pivot mechanisms. There a pain to get to, but easily replaced.
its drivers door latch...try cleaning it with some brake cleaner(do not get on paint!!) and lube it with white lithium grease...if it continues change the latch with a new one(used ones are a gamble for doing same thing)...goodluck...
