Question:

Bible diet foods... not scripture?

Im looking for a nice solid list of quot;bible dietquot; foods... not sites that quote scripture, ive found a billion of thoes. Anyone have a link of one that lists all clean foods, maybe some recipe ideas????

Answer:

I would look to Scripture for diet ideas. Marine biology has prover that shellfish are the garbage cans of the ocean. All the animals that God said are unclean scientifically ARE unclean. I was actually surprised by this, but if God really is omniscient, I like to think He is, it should've been obvious that He knows what's healthy and what's not.
God says we shouldn't eat flesh. Jesus didn't make fishes and loaves, he made fruit. Did you know the word used in the original Greek is simply 'to eat'? And the only reason it became corrupted as 'meat' is because of Constantine's carnivorous habits? Read the Gospel of the Nazirenes; the true Bible, and closest we have to Christ's actual teachings that haven't been altered for political motives by the Romans. Eat only grains, fruits, vegetables and milk and your life will be sublime. Hare Krishna, Hare Christa Edit: I was talking more about organic foods; organic grains. Obviously something stored for ages in a silo isn't good for you, but neither is non-organic milk, pesticide-covered fruit, etc. :)
I'm not positive, but I'd imagine McDonald's isn't on the list.
After you get this list help me gather a list of bible aerobics exercises for those wanting a Godly workout to go with their bible diet foods..... please
Check out a book called The Makers Diet I forget the authors name. Edit. This book describes in detail why we should or should not eat certain foods. Like the answer above, God told the Israelites not to eat certain foods because of health hazards. For example, shrimp are like little garbage eaters of the oceans, and aren't really able to rid themselves of the garbage they eat, so they are like little meaty garbage. You can eat them, but why would you? Anyway, it explains in more detail and is a great read.
