Question:

Boiler feeding itself water every hour or two.?

I think my boiler is leaking water but no signs of a leak, just the auto feeder feeds it water every hour. What could be the problem? The technician said everything is ok, and its a plumbing issue? What issue? I think he just said whatever to leave.

Answer:

Check if the Boiler overflow pipe is dripping outside. If it is then the pressure relief valve is open. This then has to be replaced as they cannot be closed again.
If that boiler system is losing water - find the leak. First place to look is the pressure valve. They often get a bit of scale under the seat and develop a slow leak. 'Pop it off' a few times to clear it.
