Question:

can a hospital power of attorney?

can you use a hospital power of attorney to get money out of the bank to pay a persons bills etc? Or is there a seperate one, like a general power of attorney and how does this work

Answer:

No a hospital power of attorney doesn't work. You need a general or specific power of attorney.
A durable medical power of attorney is only used to make medical decisions for a person who is not capable of making those decisions, usually for people with dementia or if a person is critically injured and unable to make those decisions.
