Question:

Can pallets go in a wood chipper ?

Can I put loading pallets. old lumber into a wood chipper ? I would rent a wood chipper. My local dump charges for old lumber to be disposed of. Wood chips are free to dump. I have alot of old wood and it would be expensive tp pay to dispose of

Answer:

You are privleged in this way. 1- You can afford a gym membership 2- You have some decent running shoes I would imagine 3- You have time to exercise 4- You were born healthy enouch to do these things So, yes you are privileged. There are millions of people that can't afford decent running shoes or a gym membership and that is in the USA. There are millions more that work so much it is pretty much impossible to accomplish this task. How many single mothers do you see at the gym?
On a 53' long 102 wide trailer you can fit 26 48x40 pallets. Twice that if you are able to stack or deck the load.
Incomplete question. How tall are the pallets themselves, 4/5/6? Anything on them? Does the stuff on the pallets hang over the edge of the pallet making it impossible to stack them right next to another one? Can you stack them on themselves or is something fragile loaded on the pallet,...or the pallet load taller then a standard size? How heavy is each pallet (if there is anything on them)? Weight restrictions may impact the amount you can load. Most semi-trailers will fit under a 13.5' bridge so the cargo capacity area is probably about 8' tall. I suspect the question you meant to ask was how many pallets will fit in the floorspace of that trailer? Someone else answered that for you. Logistics answers are in the details.
