I am having a issue i am not to sure about and would like any sort of advice or help i can get to fix it. I have the remote start working but soon as i open a door or trunk the alarm sounds an the car turns off.I am trying to do the procedure steps for the manual transmission remote start,1. before shutting car off, place into neutral and engage parking brake.2. press start button on remote (parking lights flash, then engine stays on)3. Take key out engine stays on4. exit vehicle, and press lock button on key fob (car shuts off, locks, alarm/remote start enabled)But soon as i take out the key with the car running and open the door the alarm sounds and the car turns off.Ive tryed leaving the door open as well and doing this procedure but same exact thing happens alarm sounds and turns off.I need the remote start due to cold weather and having to warm up car before going to work. Any help is appreciated.
