Question:

computer speakers busted?

everything was alright but suddenly a busting sound came from the speakers and no response from speakers after that. the small light is also off even if i switch on the power button of speakers.so what is this? please help me. can this be repaired or i have to buy the new one.

Answer:

Sounds to me like a blown speaker. You'd probably be better off buying a new set rather than attempting to fix the old ones.
The speakers most likely tried to pull too much electricity (you had them on too loud) or the adapter is faulty. This would either break the fuse inside the adapter or speakers or bust the speaker element. If your adapter has a fuse, you can replace it and try again if it's busted.
Go out and buy a new set of speakers - a set of two only costs about $20.
Sounds like you blew your speakers. Check that they are plugged in, and try another outlet. If they don't work then just buy new ones, as repairing speakers would cost more than a new set. Good luck!
