Answer:

well ive only ever heard of it being used as a rug you put on after exercise to cool him down.
a: yes b: definitely! c: no they don't work that way, but they do cool your horse faster and make his sweat dry faster if you put it on after his workout d: yes it can, it just doesnt provide a lot of extra cushioning e: yep, but if you need youre horse to get warm, you'll need a heavier rug or blanket
well i never heard that it will cool a horse so but give it a try!And also it is a travel rug i read it on line right now and that it will keep the horse cool on his foot/legs
Can be used under other rugs to keep a horse warmer. No, they cant be left out in the field, the rug would get wrecked and the horse would get filthy, you need a lightweight turnout rug. No, an anti sweat rug is that, a cooler helps cool a horse down after veigrous exersize. Yes, it could be used as a travel rug in hot weather to keep the flies off in the box/trailer. It depends, if you are leaving it on in the day, i suppose it could be but you couldnt leave it on during the night, the horse would roll and it would come off and get all tangled up in the horses feet.
a) yes you can put a cooler rug under another rug, although (for example in the winter) its better to put a summer sheet undernteath the thicker, heavier rug. b)no, you need turnout rug for the field. If you let the horse out in the field with a cooler, the rug will get completely ruined and destroyed, and both horse and rug would be absolutely filthy afterwards c)not exactly.. coolers cool your horse after work and help his sweat dry faster. they dont prevent him from sweating (especially if its hot, theyre more likely to make him sweat) d)yep, they can. I pefer to use fleece cooler rug, since i find them more comfortable for the horse e) yep. Though only if it's not too cold, since a cooler isnt very thick. It can be used as a stable rug during the day, when its not as cold as during the night :]
