Question:

Did I blow a fuse or is it something else?

I turned on my truck the other day and suddenly my radio, dome light and power locks did not work. I wouldn't think all of these would be on the same fuse, but I don't know much about that stuff. Could it be a bad ground wire?

Answer:

Believe it or not they are on the same fuse. Often what happens is the door jam switch corrodes, and shorts out, or the wires get salted, or corroded and ground out. That's worst case scenario. Check your owners manual, and it will have a fuse diagram. Both Chilton, and Haynes have repair manuals, and are readily available.
Unfortunatly, all of those things are normally on the same fuse. You blew it, litterally. P.S.I'm a mechanic
Check the fuses and you will find one that needs replaced
Radio and dome light are commonly on same fuse in many vehicles today. Depending on what you drive, the fuse panel could be at the end of the dash on the driver side (have to have the door open to find it) or under the dash on the driver side, or under the dash on the passenger side. Some vehicles have a secondary fuse block in the engine compartment, but this is not where the radio/dome fuse would be. Good luck in the fuse replacement.
all of those components use one fuse all together. the fuse is blown. just go to a part store and pick one up.
