Question:

Do your kids have any chairs like this?

I told her to wait until I read the reviews. If not this chair, do you kids have their own chair to sit in? Where did you get it and how much did it cost you?

Answer:

I think ours was cheaper though, it had to have been on sale. or maybe the price went up. I thought it was $50. anyways, it's a great chair. we've had it for a year and it looks brand new. the thing I have noticed about some chairs (not necessarily that exact chair, but other ones I saw in person when I was looking for one) is that the cushions do not have a removeable cover on them. the chair will get dirty so make sure you can take off the cover and throw it in the wash. the pottery barn one has a removeable cover.
We dont have those, whenever i have seen them they look cheaply made in person, which is crazy at $45 a pop. Belle has a few types of chairs, A wooden table and chairs set, hand painted winnie the pooh, then a few plastic lawn chairs, a soft stuffed football chair, only $20 at walgreens and great quality, then a wooden rocker from Cracker Barrel. Her cousins have these cute leather chairs from Target I think, very nice and we can even sit in them too, i think they were about $40 to $50 a peice.
My girls got one for Christmas and I tolerated it for about a year. I mean we already have a couch a loveseat and a chair so it was just unecessary...plus it was princess and bright pink. They sat on it, but mostly just played with it. It was easy to wash the cover though..... They do have a child sized wooden rocker, and a table with chairs which gets used a lot.
No, he likes to cuddle with us, but he does have his own kid sized chair and little table next to ours to eat at-my mom got it online for his 1st or 2nd birthday, I think. I have to say I find the Babies R Us, TRU reviews really hard to go by, because it seems every product is rated as pure crap by 50% and the greatest ever by the other 50%.
My son has one that he's been using since he was 4yo (he's 11 now). It's been used as a chair, as a bed, as a sleepover bed. It can go in the living room, then back in the bedroom. It can go up on the bunk bed. The cover has been unzipped, washed in the washing machine, then zipped back on dozens of times over the years. Right now, it's up on the top bunk, kind of turned sideways across the bed, as an added cushion while he sleeps (and, maybe, as a little bit of a security blanket, since he's had it so long). I wouldn't be surprised to see him taking it to college with him one day.
