Question:

does anyone else have time warner cable?

I have Time Warner and it is nothing but problems. we have two remotes, one for the volume on the tv and the other controls the box and we cannot get anyone to help program the two so we only have one. And if we accidently hit any other button the tv remote, the cable goes crazy and we lose it for hours at a time. This is ridiculous and I have been on hold for probably 10 hours in the last 4 months. I can't get anyone to help and it really sucks because this is the only cable service in my area! Does anyone else have these problems and dissatisfication?

Answer:

i think of they're all exceptionally undesirable, no longer adequate opposition so as that they do no longer must be good. the guy who connected our cable and internet from adelphia, now com-forged, (for $50) exchange into fantastic. the city I stay in has arise with their very own telecommunication device that i think of we will swich to.
There is one remote that controls all these functions and more. It is; Model # E2030 - Model name - Explorer It is available at TWC. Call Admin. @ 489-5000 and explain your problem!
I am so fed up with Time Warner right now. Their customer service is ridiculous and the employees seem very incompetent. I had to wait over 2 weeks to have my cable installed after they cancelled 2 appointments without even telling me. So, I wasted my time and waited for 2 whole days. Then the third time, they finally came, at 8:20pm. Time Warner installers didn't even come, it was contracted workers. Well, surprise surprise - they didn't even install the right service. I get 16 channels instead of 70 something. And, every time I talk to someone at Time Warner, they give me a different price quote. One guy told me I would get a $20 credit but I have yet to see it. Another guy told me he would take off the installation/reconnection fee, but guess what? I had to pay the fee anyways. And also since they set it up, my remote channel button does not work at all. Every other button works and always had worked, but now the only way I can flip channels is by punching the numbers in. If you can deal with the worse customer service ever, then Time Warner might be a good fit. Otherwise, they suck. I'm in the same boat as you though. Time Warner is my only option. Hopefully things will be different and they can help you out in a timely matter. Good luck!
