Question:

Drain pipe in bathroom wall 6& over from p trap. What can I do?

Hi there, The drain pipe coming out of the bathroom wall is about 6 to the right of the horizontal end of the p trap for the sink drain. The drain pipe in the wall is pretty low too. I bought a 6 extension pipe and it is still about an inch too low. Can I glue in a couple of 90 elbows(one that will angle down and then one that will angle towards the wall to fit in the drain pipe)? Would that be against code? I want to figure out if I can modify the pipes before opening up the wall. Thanks!

Answer:

those chemicals are harmful - eye'd wear goggle if eye were you! don't make a spectacle of yourself - wear your goggles.
Buy them and read the instructions, or ask the shop to install them. An auto parts store or a locksmith would probably have them.
