Question:

electrons lost or gained in periodic table?

Could someone tell the type of element (for example alkaline earth metals) along with the number of electrons gained or lost for the first 20 elements in the periodic table please?

Answer:

Fry up a small steak, and slice thin, put on top of a salad, make a side baked potatoeYou can do soup along with it tooYou can make a baked chicken with instant flavored rice and some nice veggies in a bag you could microwaveThey have meals like tuna helper where you just add tuna to a box of tuna helper and cook on the stoveIf you like fish, do a baked fish with riceIf you have a crock pot, you can make even more one pot meals, like pot roast, and chili, and stew.
I'm guessing you mean electrons lost in ionic bonding reactionsNoble gases are inert, so they won't form ionic bondsCovalent bonds can have multiple bonds, thus can't be given an exact number of electrons lost/gainedHydrogen: +/- 1 - hydrogen can act as both metal and nonmetal Helium: 0 - noble gas Lithium: -1 Beryllium: -2 Boron: -3 Carbon: +/- 4 Note: it should really be 0, since there are NO ionic compounds with carbon involvedNitrogen: +3 Oxygen: +2 Fluorine: +1 Neon: 0 Sodium: -1 Magnesium: -2 Aluminum: -3 Silicon: +/- 4 Just like carbon, it should really be 0For the sake of this list, I'll list it as +/- 4 Phosphorus: +3 Sulfur: +2 Chlorine: +1 Argon: 0 Potassium: -1 Calcium: -2 There you go.
This is hard, because I remember being a student and the cheapest things I would get were mac and cheese and top ramenSo, unfortunately, those are more carbsSome of the stores do have salad packs for $1.00 and tuna in water is always a good choice and cheap.
I am a student as well cooking on my own and here are some recipes I make: penne with olive oil, garlic, and paramseanIt's very easy, just sautee the garlic and olive oil in a pan, cook the penne in salted water and mix once the penne is done and put some parmasean on toppita bread pizzai buy pita bread, tomatoes, and shredded mozzarella, i slice up the tomatoes and spread them out over the pita then sprinkle the mozzarella on topthis is good hot or coldto make hot, just put in the stove at 400 degrees for about 15 minutesquesidillas! just buy wraps, these are simple and you can put anything inside themyou can make them in a pan or in the microwavei also make an egg dish for dinner sometimes, i scramble up 3 egg whites, mix it with pepperoni and feta cheese another good meal is a grilled cheese that I makeFirst, I cook 2 strips of bacon and slice up half a green appleThen I spread some mustard on whole grain bread, put two slices of cheddar on the bread, and put the cooked bacon and green apples in between the slices of cheeseThen I just grill it up with butter like a basic grilled cheeseSounds weird but it is so good! How about some chicken cutlets? Just fry them in a pan with whatever sauce you like, teryaki, soy, tomato, or just basic olive oil is goodthey are cheap and you can even bread them with some breadcrumbs if you wantIt's always good to have canned soup at hand as wellI always also have frozen veggies in the freezer in case I want a healthy snack or to use as a side to chicken or anything else I makeCanned tuna fish too, it is a good snack on crackers, or a good meal on an english muffin.
