Okay I‘m on financial aid suspension at the community college I was previously attending.I want to take out a Standford loan but my moms says I have to be a full time student. So if I sign up for a full time schedule for the fall semester, do my fasfa apply for the loan, will I get it?To get my financial aid back I have to pay for 2 classes with my own money pass them with a C or better. I am a little confused by your question just because schools have such different systems. We don't have anything like that for suspension of financial aid. Also, it is unclear if this is a scholarship they are suspending or a grant, loan, etc. However, I'll try to help. First of all, you do NOT have to be enrolled full-time to take out a Stafford loan; you only need to be enrolled half-time (6 hour min typically). Every student who is enrolled is permitted to take a Stafford loan, so you will have no problem getting it. Also, since (like I said) this form of suspension of financial aid is foreign to me, I don't think the school can withhold a loan as a part of the financial aid suspension, but it is probably best to just ask them to be sure.
