Question:

Fire blankets vs fire extinguishers?

Pros and cons please. I don't really have any experience with either.

Answer:

each state has a MINIMUM distance from fire hydrants and curbs that you must comply with. Somebody could have reported the car near a hydrant. or a member of the fire department could have seen it. You can appeal any ticket..
I learned this one because my car was very low to the ground. So if I cannot miss the speed bumpI make sure there is spacing for me to do thisI hit it one wheel at a time by driving on an 60 to 45 degree angle approach. This makes for less of a BUMP and more for a hilly road. You can take the speed bumps at a higher speed with less of a shock to the suspension. If you can try it. You will notice that it is smoother. It means more steering but what the hey. [That, or hit them at 60MPH and you basically do the Dukes of Hazzard thing.] ..and with low slung sports cars, your muffler or bottom of car does not scrape on the pavement. ..Legal? I do not know but no where does it say I have to hit it dead on, kind of like avoiding potholes.
