We're installing a vent-free gas fireplace, and despite careful attention to detail and following all proper instructions, there seems to be a slight leak from the connection between the flex-line connection and the heater itself. We've tried both Teflon tape and pipe sealant. It's very small and you can barely smell it, but it's there. What could be causing this and what can we do to remedy it? A plumber/professional is not an option at the moment.
