Question:

help needed with pallet removal?

I live in san jose, at my job, we've managed to stack up a sizable collection of wood pallets. My manager has given me the enviable task of removing the pallets in under a week, the problem is i have no idea how to go about removing them. I've seen some drivers going around apparently collecting them, but don't know where they take them, or even if they can be sold. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.thanksrpoteat

I suggest you try your local manufacture companies(factories, welding companies seem to have a lot of them in Ohio)We've gotten them from a local manufactering(metal) for our bomb fires for free. Good luck
Check out behind stores that sell office supplies and furniture. Many larger items (like file cabinets and desks) come bolted to pallets that really aren't reusable.
Walmart reuses their pallets. Drive behind strip-malls and other businesses. Many of them throw pallets away.
I am in Arizona and that site is filled with people wanting to get rid of pallets.
