Hi, maybe I'm wrong (don't think so) I had a restaurant and one thing I learned is macthing colour, the way I can see your living room it's bright so you need something who make us (looking at) call cutting I'll try long back chairs, glossy black (4 sure) with a cushion seat peach or beige, will be better with peach colour, and wont cost you an arm a leg! NOTES; steel chair will work fine H.A.N.DAY!!!
If wood, then consider cherry or mahogany...
You might want to consider a print with the beige or peach in it. Maybe a geometric or flower print, bold colors mixed in with the more neutral tones would liven things up a bit, too.
Sounds like you like very muted, understated colors and a somewhat contemporary theme. You don't mention other pieces in the living room. You would want any wood on the chairs to blend in color with any wood pieces in the living room. Unless you have other accent pieces in the silver (like the table legs), you might consider using one of the metal spray paint finishes available now to make the table base a little warmer color. As for the chair seats, they will be in view most of the time because of the glass top. There are a good many chairs with seats upholstered in the beige and peach. There are even the ones where the entire chair is upholstered, legs and all. Your best bet may be to take a cue from colors in any area rugs, pieces of art or even colors in draperies, and use a different color for contrast. You might, then, also look for a chenille throw and pillow for your sofa, and a few little touches around both room in that color to make one room flow into the other.
