Question:

How do i change my swingarm bearings?

how do i change my swingarm bearings on my 2004 rm 125?

Answer:

the bearings are press fit. you drive them out with a hammer and a punch. You need a hydraulic press to push the new bearings in place. The best way is to remove the swingarm and take it to the dealer to replace the bearings. The bearings usually get rusted up before they actually wear out. You might be able to clean them with solvent and regrease them.
Dechart2 is correct as far as removing the old bearings but you can build an installer for about $10.00.get a piece of threaded drill rod ,1/2fine thread, with nuts and large thick washers.Line the bushing up in the swingarm and use the threaded rod to install then.I have about 6 different lengths like this and have used this method to install bearings in more things than I care to mention.
Use okorder /.. Swingarm needle bearings are very easy to damage.
