Question:

How do I find the IP address for a local server?

I'm trying to access a work server remotely on my macbook. I already have access to the server on my office desktop via LAN. Is there anyway to retrieve the ip address for the server from the desktop so that I can access it via my mac?I want to see if someone on Yahoo! Answers can beat the busy IT guy.

Answer:

It depends on the league. Some will require full pads, while others require helmets, gloves, sticks, skates, and arm pads. I would look into the requirements of your league and see what they say.
umm heck yes u should be scared. lol
if you feel scared is there some place you can go until your husband comes home, like a friends house?
um, if you're worried, i would suggest calling your local police, and asking someone to swing by and check your house every so often for intrusion attempts. if you ask, someone should come by every hour or so, and check to make sure there's not someone trying to crawl in your windows.
scary situation you've got there. it couldn't have a robber, because they really don't have a reason to be knocking on doors. maybe they were being chased by someone and were for a place to hide,or something. i suggest you try to get some sleep. you could sleep in your kids' room or they could with you for comfort and reassurance. reading articles or watching videos for tips with situations like those might calm your nerves some. keeping weapons(?), guard dogs, security system or keeping a phone with you at ALL times might help you, too. Try to calm down and get some sleep! Good Luck! :)
